Six more invited to CPH Games

Copenhagen Games has announced that six more invitations to its Fona Trust CS:GO tournament have been handed out.

The Danish event will run from April 1-5 at the Øksnehallen exhibition centre, with €26,000 up for grabs in the CS:GO tournament, which will feature a total of 32 teams.

Half of the participants will be determined through an offline qualifier, to be held inside CPH Games, while the remaining 16 teams will receive direct invites from the organisation.

The standout entry on the list of participants is without a doubt EMS One Katowice champions Virtus.pro, who are joined by fellow Polish countrymen Gamers2.

Virtus.pro will attend CPH Games again

PENTA Sports, Gplay and Atlantis (who were previously known as gBots) have also been handed invitations to the Danish event.

The final entry on the list is a Swedish team called Chosen, featuring two former 1.6 veterans, Björn "⁠THREAT⁠" Pers and Frej "⁠kHRYSTAL⁠" Sjöström, and ex-Property member Christian "⁠Spitfire⁠" Schiölde.

a lot is probably a little much to say depending on how many rounds they can get on t side, you're probably right but VP can destroy anyone when they're on their game

VP is only good at certain maps and thede are lately: Nuke (Mirage) Cobblestone And this is why VP can't win against Teams, that are good on almost all Maps. For example fnatic or TSM

Dude, the top teams can't attend every single event. Just look at this: reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/2w.. There are like 5 events with larger prize pools that they would rather attend than CPH Games during the spring.

According to fragbite, the tier1 teams wont attend the event due to it being to expensive. Guess with travel, prizes and hotel stay,it could be pretty expensive.
