WinneR sign for KILLERFISH

The German team raised eyebrows earlier in the month when they broke into the top two in the second online pre-qualifier for ESL One Katowice after defeating teams like Property and 3DMAX en route to the final.

Their dreams of attending the major in Poland were, however, shattered just days later as they were disqualified from the offline qualifier due to a suspected involvement in a match-fixing case that is currently under investigation by Valve.

Despite the setback, the players decided to stick together, and they have now landed the support of KILLERFISH as they look to get into the EPS Spring group stage via the online cups.

"We are very pleased to be able to play under KILLERFISH," said Antonin "TONI" Bernhardt. "We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their trust and support.

"After the unpleasant past month with public accusations regarding match-fixing, we are happy to be officially part of an organisation that allows us to compete nationally and internationally.

"I would like to take this opportunity to make it clear that we have not been banned by Valve, ESL, ESEA or FACEIT from any future tournaments at all because we were innocent and because the evidence against us was shaky.

"Our first goal is to qualify for the EPS Finals, in Duisburg. We are very happy with our line-up and we understand each other very well."
