ESL One Katowice bracket drawn

The ESL One Katowice bracket has been drawn after TSM advanced to the quarter-finals from the last match of the group stage.

Even though we have seen surprises in the form of PENTA advancing over Titan and LGB, as well as Keyd Stars over HellRaisers and CLG, all of the favourites won their respective groups.

The bracket was drawn shortly after TSM finished the last match of the group stage, which saw them taking revenge against Cloud9 on Overpass. First seeded teams were randomly drawn to second seeds, with one exception - the teams from the same group couldn't meet right in the quarter-finals.

EnVyUs will kick off day two in Katowice

fnatic will get to meet PENTA and the Brazilians from Keyd Stars were drawn to Virtus.pro at the upper half of the bracket, while EnVyUs will re-match Na`Vi after their semi-final at DreamHack Winter 2014 and NiP will meet TSM on Saturday.

Take a look at the the bracket below:

Sweden fnatic vs. Germany PENTA
Poland Virtus.pro  vs. Brazil Keyd Stars
France EnVyUs vs. Ukraine Na`Vi
Sweden NiP vs. Denmark TSM

Note that the matches are not in chronological order, as tomorrow, EnVyUs and Na`Vi are playing first, followed up by fnatic and PENTA, and the day will close with Virtus.pro and Keyd Stars. The last quarter-final between NiP and TSM is played on Saturday.

If they're going to win they're going to need to beat TSM, probably ENVY, probably Fnatic. They had an easy group but a pretty tough run now.

Semi final and final are always going to be tough. QF can be a mixed bag. They got an easy group but they have the hardest QF.

Debatable. Na'Vi doesn't look to be in the best form. TSM played well in their lost game (13-2 CT half on nuke). Na'Vi got totally rekt on CT side of cobble.

Agreed, Na Vi is a very streaky inconsistent team at times, but when they get going, its going to be one tough match for anyone facing them. I'm going to go with EnVyUs on my Pick Em though.

While it was a complete shock that Titan didn't make it, I don't think most people thought they would go out in two games.

Envy cant meet tsm in the grandfinal cuz they would match up at semi against each other... For me it was so clear that vp will get keyd cuz the tournament is in polski

VP was seed 1 in their group,so they wont get to play envy, nip, fnatic. The only opponents they can face are navi, keyd, penta, tsm. And i guess VP can beat 3 of them quite easily, maybe a struggle against navi.

Only possible upsets I see here are TSM and Na'vi, since both teams have a high ceiling, but they might as well just lose 2-0. Envy and fnatic should advance with no problems.

the easiest to keyd team would be the VP, the only chance to see them between 4 was that , hard match , but I still believe in keyd, they have two strong maps Mirage / dust2 and two intermediate maps Inferno / Cache, they can surprise the world, almost did it against fnatic in the Clutch-Con winning the first map

Don't take me wrog i belive KeyD is quite stong and it could be esier to draw team like NaVi for VP. The problem of KeyD is that VP have huge advantage in map pool since D2 easy ban for VP and surely i dont want to take VP on mirage or cache.

What draw? Winner A vs Second B, Winner B vs Second A, Winner C vs Second D, Winner D vs Second C. That is not a draw, it was predefined this way.
