NiP to SLTV grand final over TSM

NiP secure a spot in the SLTV StarSeries XII grand final following a 2-0 win over TSM (de_dust2 16-6, de_nuke 16-13).

In a match for a place in the grand final, NiP and TSM got to fight it out on two maps that have been two of the best maps for both teams, de_dust2 and de_nuke.

Despite a solid start for the Danish team on de_dust2, leading 4-2, NiP ended up going over to Terrorists with a 10-5 scoreline mostly thanks to a brilliant performance from Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg and Aleksi "allu" Jalli.

The pistol on the second side was the only round TSM managed to get on the board due to a great double kill by Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen to win a two-on-two, as NiP stormed on to win six in a row and go up 1-0 in the series.

NiP get to rematch EnVyUs after yesterday's debacle

In possibly one of the last de_nukes we will see in the nearest future, TSM started off as Counter-Terrorists, and although they lost the initial pistol and both ecos afterwards, Finn "karrigan" Andersen's ninja defuse helped them secure a 12-3 halftime score.

NiP stood calm at all times though, and with a won pistol because of a good read on karrigan's fake, they held on round after round before TSM evened it out at 13-13.

That was the last round the Danes could win, as Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund's backstab triple secured one of the three remaining, forcing TSM on two bad buys in a row.

allu played CT side really well though, and they won the game, so can't be too bad.

f0rest did play amazing, but why he had that much kills was because he got some eco bashes. Not trying to take anything away, f0rest was the mvp for NiP this game and he deserved it :)

He ended 14/21, Karrigan actually played much worse at 10/22 but everyone ignored it. I also don't get why NiP keep insisting he uses a AK on T nuke when he's a dedicated awper.

Actually when I listened to the pov stream Allu was offered the awp multiple times but he refused. Even the one round he had the awp, someone (Maybe f0rest?) insisted he used it to get a kill in A main. :)

Glad nuke is being removed, when pistol round decides the whole game it's not that entertaining

it'd be even better if we could keep the map and the teams actually tried to practice their t-side why blame the map when teams are running around like headless chickens on their t-side?

It's the rather opposite. The few teams that actually play nuke put way more focus on the T rounds for obvious reasons, since the CT rounds is not exactly rocket science.

I'm amazed by, no matter where NiP goes in the world, it's like they have the home field advantage. They got such a strong fanbase worldwide, it's crazy.

He was not that lucky on timing on d2, he got caught offguard a lot of times, one example was when his mouse jumped by itself. He still got the kill, but he should have got the kill and had 100 hp left, instead he got 39 hp left because of the mouse bug. He still got two more kills that round though :p

He should have died, but still got the kill after that jump... On nuke it was just raging to watch him having the best timings ever EVERY single time, I would have been so mad if it was against me :D

True nuke he had some timings, on ct-side at least especially towards the end. Because on t-side he got shot in the back instead :D

When you talk about players like GTR, Sn4x or flusha, timing is not about luck. They are the best lurkers in the world and they are used to those kind of plays. It's been years watching GTR backstab people and it still works

ofc it's skill - to freaking move forward when you have no idea is there a player or not - and, luckily, a player is going away. F0ck this, jesus.

Two easy maps for NiP actually, 12-3 on nuke is bad, you should win 14-1 or 15-0 to have any chances to win the game. Good map.
