enkay J joins PENTA Sports

PENTA Sports have announced that they have secured the services of Niclas "enkay J" Krumhorn from ALTERNATE.

The German team had been on the lookout for a new fifth member after parting ways with Tobias "⁠Troubley⁠" Tabbert in the aftermath of ESL One Katowice despite finishing in the top eight at the Polish major.

With a four-man roster, PENTA then turned to former mTw member Niclas "⁠enkay J⁠" Krumhorn, who had been on ALTERNATE's books since the start of the season, for their official matches.

He has now agreed to join PENTA on a short-term deal, valid until the end of May, when the German organisation will decide whether to let him go or offer an extension.

"What had been talked about in recent weeks became a reality today," Krumhorn said in a statement. "I am going to switch from ALTERNATE to PENTA Sports.

"Playing with these lads has been really fun, and I am really looking forward to the next few weeks. I hope we can continue to grow steadily.

"I would like to thank ALTERNATE, who did everything for my well-being and where I felt very comfortable.

"I wish them a good future and hope they can find a team that will represent them in a proper way."

strux1 and the rest of the team had very different opinions on what playstyle to go with. Strux1 wanted them to play defensive, while the others really want to play an offensive style!
