mouz pull out of CPH Games

mousesports have decided to relinquish their invite to Copenhagen Games, HLTV.org has learned.

The German team had been the very first team to receive an invitation to attend Copenhagen Games, whose main CS:GO tournament, featuring a €26,000 prize fund, will run from April 3-5.

However, mouz have decided to skip the Danish event as the team's focus is on preparing for the ESEA Finals from April 17-19 - a tournament that will have a whopping $144,000 on offer.

chrisJ's mouz will focus on preparing for ESEA S18 Finals

Replacing mouz at Copenhagen Games will be another German team, Playing Ducks, which means that the invite list now looks as follows:

Germany Playing Ducks Ukraine Flipsid3
Denmark CPH Wolves Denmark Team SoloMid
Denmark dignitas
Finland 3DMAX
Sweden Property
Sweden Publiclir.se
Sweden Team Acer Spain Atlantis
Sweden Orbit Poland Gamers2
Poland Virtus.pro Norway LGB eSports
Slovakia nEophyte Denmark Reason Gaming

Coz they won the i54 qualifiers. They can't be at two LANs at the same time.

The UK lan is closer to them, and they have more chances. In CPH games they wouldn't pass group stage, and they can win i54

even if they didnt attend to i54 they would not probably be in Copenhagen because just like the previous years where they could have attended, going there is just too expensive for Iberian teams.

Well, I don't think it's a good move. CPH Games would have been the perfect preparation for them and would have given them a chance to get some confidence (assuming they would have decent results there). Anyway, GL to them at ESEA, my expectations are very low though, the LEGIJA/ChrisJ duo has always struggled on international LANs.

I do not understand this decision! Makes no sense whatsoever. -Its the one tournament where they can all drive to? (except Niko) -They could have surprised us and even went to the final of this tournament (with a bit of luck) -The best kind of practise for ESEA, is to play important games.

Lol they should try with new team members, not focusing on winning tournaments. Only thing they could get on tournaments are hemeroids for sitting that long and not do a single good thing.
