Ascendancy join Tempo Storm

Tempo Storm have announced that they have ventured into CS:GO by signing the Ascendancy roster.

Ascendancy are regarded as one of the up-and-coming teams in North America after cruising through the ESEA Premier division with a perfect 16-0 record, while in the playoffs they stand undefeated after beating Ace MSI in the semi-finals.

Their exploits have seemingly not gone unnoticed in the region as the players have agreed a deal with Tempo Storm, an organisation that also supports a HearthStone and a Heroes of the Storm division.

The team will make their first appearance for Tempo Storm on Thursday, against SYNRGY Gaming, in the grand final of the ESEA Premie playoffs.

"CS:GO is one of the fastest growing and promising games in esports," Tempo Storm CEO Andrey "Reynad" Yanyuk said in a statement.

"I have personally seen the CS:GO crowd at Dreamhacks double the amount of spectators that their stage is built for every time I've been there.

"The community strongly supports Counter Strike, and so do we.

"Tempo Storm is very lucky to have picked up the best up and coming team in North America, and I'm excited to watch the guys compete under our banner from now on."

They went 16-0 in Premier, I'd say that's a pretty big achievement after just 1 season of playing together.

get rid of ryx... he's toxic, and a stupid player. His aim is good though...

I remember playing a PUG with him on ESEA and everyone on the team had to .block and mute him. He constantly rage while he contributed nothing to the team. We could of won without him but he kept continuing being the most fucking annoying player on the team. On stream he tones it down for publicity but don't let it fool you. Dude is a straight up dick with a huge ego. This was about a year ago that this took place. No clue if he grew up but I doubt it. CS:GO scene is full of man children that take the game way too seriously but yet fail to actually take the time to really take it serious by reviewing themselves as a player and grow. I don't know what the scene across the ocean is like but it's terrible on ESEA. And CEVO is full of cheaters and shady fuckers.

NiP is the only CS:GO based organization that I can think of that has made it big enough to the point where they start to acquire teams in other games.
