Virtus and TSM go through

The Upper Bracket semi-final stage featured an interesting all-Polish clash between the two strongest sides in the country, Virtus.pro and Gamers2, with the first map of the series, de_mirage, being a one-way street from start to finish as Wiktor "⁠TaZ⁠" Wojtas's men ran cruised to a 16-0 victory.

After a slow start to the game on de_cache, Gamers2 were able to close the gap to five rounds at the end of the first half. Virtus.pro then came out the brighter on the Terrorist side and further enlarged their lead before sealing the victory in the final stages of the match.

The other semi-final pattern, as Team SoloMid breezed past LGB eSports 16-1 on de_inferno. The Norwegian side gave a much better account of themselves on the second map of the series, de_overpass, but the former dignitas side picked up the victory in the last round to avoid overtime.

Virtus.pro and Team SoloMid will face each other in the Upper Bracket final at 17:00 , while Gamers2 and LGB have dropped to the Lower Bracket, which uses a best-of-one format.
