zonic's zoom: Gaming Advanced

Last week I made a standard tactic on de_dust2, I showed you how to can make a standard setup so you don’t just go around playing public, but you actually cover the different areas on the map.
This week I’m going to do the same thing, but just on de_train.
Train is a bit different than dust2, because it use (and still are) to be a rush map. If you have a great spawn as terrorist, I suggest a rush, unless you have a pretty good AWP who can pick of the opponents.
Spawn doesn’t matter in this tactic!
Player1 - Goes down to alley and simply just make some noise, I don’t demand him to make a noise, but just so that they won’t know if you a few rounds later make a alley attack.
Player2 - Is the AWP Player on your team, if you don’t have one, get one. His job is to (If he gets a great spawn) picks your opponents so you are in a 5on4 situation. If we can’t do that, he can either go POP (The ladder entrance to yard) or T link (The fastest way to yard).
The rules are simple:
- Great spawn = Go pick someone out quick if he can
- Bad spawn = Go pick someone slow and defensive.
Player3 - Help’s Player1 in Alley, or he can go to whitewalls (The stair entrance to the house, the same way you go down to POP) – It depends on what your main target is. If your goal is to attack yard, I suggest 2 Players to go Alley. If you are going for the inside bombspot, I suggest Player3 goes whitewalls.
Player4 - Goes whitewalls and cover if a possible offensive attack should come from the inner bombsite.
Player5: Goes T link to help the AWP player if he goes T Middle, he kind of have a lose role, so he can also go pop, like before, depends on which bombspot you want to attack.
Summaries:
A-Attack
Player1 & Player 3 Alley, make some noise or don’t, they can basically do what they want.
Player 2 - AWP player, pick someone out either T middle or pop, and if he gets blocked by the opponents, he just wait so his teammates can help him get out in the yard.
Player 4 - covers b2, even though it is a A-attack
Player5 - Can either go T middle with the AWP, or pop with Player4
That was a A-attack, with main focus on Alley, if you like to go pop more, simply just move either Player1 or Player3 to pop, so you have 1 Alley, 1-2 T middle, 3-2 Pop.
B-Attack
If you are going b2 it’s just the opposite, you keep one guy in Alley, one guy in Middle, AWP, and last 3 in pop. You simply just make some noise in b1 (Alley, T middle) and then start going towards b2.
You will be able to find this standard T setup in most of our de_train demos. Find them here. Once again you are welcome to ask if there's something I did not point out clear enough. Also I'm open to suggestions for next edition of Gaming Advanced.
