Counter Pit League with $50,000

One Game Agency has announced that it will organise a CS:GO league with a prize fund of $50,000.

The first edition of the Counter Pit League, a new online championship sponsored by Vulcun, will see 12 of Europe's strongest sides duke it out for the bulk of the tournament's $50,000 prize purse.

Ten teams will be receive direct entry into the league, while the remaining two participants will be determined through an online qualifier featuring eight sides.

Counter Pit League's matches will be streamed on the tournament's official channel in English by Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett and RoomOnFire trio Auguste "Semmler" Massonnat, Anders Blume and Halvor "vENdetta" Gulestøl.

Below you can find the teams that have received invitations to take part in the Counter Pit League:

The qualifying stages are scheduled to start on May 1, while the main league will run from May 20 to July 31.

wow i can't believe how far CS has come in such a short time. i remember at the beginning of last year, $50,000 leagues were AWESOME these days, they're crawling out of the woodworks left and right

And the viwership? 100k at the same time used to be insane, and now in the last major we hited 1milion one point

nah man, im sure they just declined it for some reason. why would u make a tourney and not invite the best team for it, if the region is the same and all the other best teams after that team are invited?

Like flusha said I think VP are attending to almost every tournament. The amount of tournaments fnatic attended last year - after the lineup change - was crazy if I'm not mistaaken. Maybe they wanna take it easy in the first half of the year. It is understandable, I guess?

i dont get it ,why theese teams got invited to qualifiers instead of gplay?Currently gplay won again extence,kick,orbit,dignitas and g2 and i am quite sure that they can handle mous with eaze(i like mous,but after they added niko they have not showed any good results tbh).I am really curious:Based on what achievements those teams got invited ?
