G7 with new website

The G7 teams website has had a complete revamp and makeover. The new design comes two years after the project was born, and the website brings updated functionality, new content and lots of new features.

Quoted from the G7 Website:

"After two years of work, G7 Teams has relaunched our website with updated functionality, content, and information to better serve the community.

Aside from the redesign, we've added a community calendar of events to not only show upcoming events but also to offer our evaluation based on a catalogue of criteria.  Event organizers can not only view other confirmed events, but also add events for G7 Teams to review and confirm before sharing them with the community.  We hope this new feature fosters information sharing among e-sports organizers and helps teams better plan their calendar of events.

The second most noteworthy change is the addition of a G7 Affiliate Program.  Teams can apply to become an Affiliate to work with member teams to improve and progress e-sports.  Affiliates will have a more direct communication channel to G7 Teams to help resolve community issue and participate in G7 surveys and reviews.

We hope the new website and advanced functionality helps keep G7 Teams more accessible to the community and transparent with the ongoing and often behind the scenes work we're busy with."

The G7 Organisation is in association with;

United Kingdom Four-Kings
Sweden fnatic
Denmark MeetYourMakers
Brazil Made In Brazil
Germany Mousesports
Poland PGS Poker Strategy
Germany SK-Gaming
China wNv

The website can be found here.

As I see organisation flags are used, would fnatic not be identified with the Australian one? ::)

Absolutely, that's a terrible fail.

I would not call it a terrible fail either, just a common mistake, as it happens sometimes with SK thinking it is a Swedish organisation. And if a mistake occurs, someone (in this me ;D) just points it out ;P but not calls it a fail xD <3 8Ball^

Australian origin, but main office in UK, Sam resides in UK there and even has UK flag in his profile. Not to mention on the G7 website itself the location says UK.

As said, and you yourself state the same, they may have their office in the UK but still are of Australian origin ;) As I see it Matrix > Office ;)

We are talking about the G7 website and the location of which the organizations are based in, not the origin of the founder and his family. The main office is in the UK and that's where the founder resides and manages the organization. Go check the G7 website itself because apparently you didn't even do that. It clearly says UK. You cannot logically say otherwise. As G7 and fnatic see it: UK

In case you misunderstood I am talking about fnatic as an organisation, not about G7 website or whatever ;) If you want to think that being the main office locaterd in the UK changes the organisation from Australian to British you are free to do so. Though I am myself free to not agree with you as f.e. a Russian company having its main office in Berlin does not convert it to a German one I presume. Of course I did check the website (though I still adore people that think they know me better, and know what I do or do not, than myself xD) and if they take into account the main office, well, it is up to them. Though it still does not apply to the organisation as explained in my example ;)

In case you did not comprehend my previous comments, I used the G7 website as a reference to clearly show that the fnatic organization is based and located in the UK currently. I never said that the main office being located in the UK changes the organization from Australian to British, nor did I ever label the fnatic organization as Australian or British. I merely stated that fnatic is of Australian origin from its founder and that they are based and located in the UK. Personally I would not label them as either Australian or British, as they are a very diverse organization and I think it would be best to describe them as international. If, however, you were going to base the company's nationality primarily on the origin of the founder then of course you would consider fnatic Australian. I agree with that too, as I never said they weren't an Australian organization. As for checking the website, I never said that with certainty you didn't check the website at all. I only suggested it as a possibility. :D So I think we both agree mostly on what I've said. I never labeled the organization as UK, and I would agree that it is Australian. The only thing that is actually in question is whether the flag should be shown for the origin of the organization's head managers or the location that the organization is based in. In my opinion, the location that the organization is based in should be used just like how the G7 lists the locations of the organizations and not the origins. <3 :)

You have to differentiate the teams from the organisations they play for, f.e. SK CS players Swedish - SK Organisation German MYM CS players Polish - MYM Organisation Danish

I don't think this will be good for expansion of gaming community, more like establishing "for ever" top teams and holding on it very hard.
