NiP join CEVO S7 list

Upon learning that their team had been left out of the list of participants for CEVO's professional division, several NiP players took to Twitter to question the North American organisation, claiming they had never been contacted in the first place.

CEVO have now decided to extend an invitation to the Swedish giants, who are due to face HellRaisers in the first round of the league. The move does not mean that there will be an increase in the number of spots, however, as Team SoloMid have decided to withdraw from the tournament due to a conflicting schedule with other events.

A total of 12 teams from all over Europe will be taking part in CEVO S7's European professional division. The top three will qualify for the global finals from July 24-26, where they will be joined by three teams from the North American division and by EnVyUs and fnatic - both of whom have been invited.

The following 12 teams will be competing in CEVO's European professional division:
