ESWC today release the final list of attending teams for ESWC Masters, taking place 4-6th of July in Paris, France.
There are a few changes from the previous lists we’ve seen. Back on the list is eSTRO, while teams such as wNv.cn and dignitas won’t be attending after all. It’s a total of twenty teams, where four of them are French teams, the best four placed teams on the French ESWC ranking.
The final list of attending teams for ESWC Masters now looks as follows:

ESWC Masters will be kicking off 4th of July in the gigantic Paris Bercy arena. HLTV.org will be on-site, providing you everything you could possible think of.
No Belgian team?
Last weekend the groupstage of the ESWC qualifier has been played at the Hilton Hotel in Antwerp. Upcoming weekend the 2nd part of the qualifier will be taking place. The play-offs.

It's not because of this, it's because any team can attend and it happens in France so obviously, it's easier to go there for them.
They won't be successful anyway, maybe emL will place top4 or 3 (doubt this) but that's it...
I start my summer job on july 1rst, won't be able to see this event and I almost wanna cry because of this :'oo

Hey just noticed nEophyte will be there.
Will be quite interesting to see those guys at work againt elite teams.
But more than everything, I wanna see how far EG can go, beating fnatic on one map is one thing (especially with fnatic not taking the match seriously), now they have to prove they can own, gl n0thing :]

Virtus.Pro might miss their chance to qualify for ESWC
Shocking news came from Ukraine's ESWC organization - team Virtus.Pro could be banned from the Ukraine preliminaries due to them being "Russian", despite them having three Ukrainians in the roster.
"Virtus.Pro is a Russian project," - states Mikhail Seleckiy, one of the organizers of the Ukrainian ESWC.
"We are interested in a local team winning it, therefore we are now discussing the possibility of banning Virtus from the preliminaries," he continues and also adds the fact that the global ESWC headquarters are also analyzing this hot topic.
Dmitry "Dilvish" Smith, WCG Russia head organiser mentioned:
"I don't know the real reason behind all this. I know that Russian and Ukrainian Intel offices are now negotiating with ESWC and trying to make Virtus.Pro's presence in the preliminaries possible."
After the addition of Mykhailo 'Kane' Blagin, Virtus.Pro now has three Ukrainian players in its roster and therefore should be considered as a Ukrainian team by the ESWC committee.

@ 16 ... you're so wrong. Last week the 1st qualifier has been played... and it was online !

And regarding those qualifiers, they are for a ticket to San josé (eswc finals).
1st qualifier had to restrain 8 teams. 2nd qualifier will decide for the best 4. And those 4 will be playing a Lan-final on the AEF Event in Antwerp (which is 25-27 July..) ESWC masters in Paris = purely on invite.
