GeT_RiGhT to lead NiP ingame

The decision was made right after the Swedish team's early exit at Gfinity Spring Masters 2, where a 1-2-1 record ranked them fourth in the group.

NiP will be hoping that the move will breathe new life into the roster, just one month after Joona "⁠natu⁠" Leppänen, a former professional player, was hired to coach the team.

This is not the first that that Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund leads the team inside the game, but the player admits that he still finds it hard to call the shots.

"We had a long discussion at Gfinity, where we went through a lot of stuff," Alesund wrote on Facebook.

"We came th the conclusion that I was going to try out to be the caller... In the last few days, that is what I have done.

"It has been sort of a roller coaster for myself as I have to think about what everyone wants to do ingame and such. It has been kind of tough, if you ask me.

"But I have great team-mates that support me to the fullest. I do not feel weird with this new role anymore.

"Sure, we may go back to Richard being the main caller, or someone else, but, for the time being, I will continue in this role. I hope I will get the best support from our fans."

NiP's first offline event with GeT_RiGhT as ingame leader will be DreamHack Summer, which will take place from on June 14-15.

The Swedish team are currently second in CEVO Professional, on a perfect 5-0 record, while in the ESL ESEA Pro League they lie in fourth place, with six victories from 11 matches.
