vuggo joins fnatic as coach

fnatic have announced that Viktor "vuggo" Jendeby has been hired as the new coach of their CS:GO team.

With mere hours left before the start of fragbite Masters, fnatic have formally unveiled their new coach in the form of Viktor "vuggo" Jendeby, who helped the Swedish giants during their title-winning campaign at ESL One Katowice by analysing the team's opponents.

His resume includes a stint as manager in TEAMGLOBAL, in which he worked with Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer and Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson, and a spell as coach in the former Property team, who are currently known as 1337.

fnatic get a new coach ahead of the fragbite Masters finals

vuggo will take over as fnatic's coach following the departure of Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg, who has decided to play competitively again after a year-long break.

"I didn’t hesitate for a second when Patrik approached me regarding the Head Coach position," he said in a statement.

"Fnatic has always been the team closest to my heart and I remember cheering for the team in my early eSports years when they boasted the likes of diGitaL and zaffe.

"I go way back with some of the players and I’m eager to begin working with them full-time in the pursuit of establishing ourselves as the sole number one team in the world.

"I know filling the shoes of Devilwalk will be tough, but I'm up for the challenge and I’m confident that this will be a great year for Fnatic."

fnatic will take on Na`Vi in the Upper semi-final stage of the fragbite Masters finals, where they will be looking to defend their title from season 3.

Nope. I find it quite ridiculous for a Canadian to think he is able to spot cronyism in a Swedish team lol. You have no insiders knowledge of the scene whatsoever unless you're fakeflagging. Vuggo joined them as an analyst at Katowice, watching demos of all the teams they could potentially face, and did an amazing job. It's also something Fnatic desperately needs as everyone else was super tired of it. In the interviews following their Katowice win it was obvious that Vuggo genuinely helped them a ton. And if you watch other interviews or watch streams of Fnatic players, it's quite evident that none of them seemed to think Devilwalk provided much of anything. Also listening to their PoV's I have to agree entirely.

What are you on? Xenophobic? Omfg. I just think you claiming this as you've done time and time again recently is as stupid as threads like "kio told me flusha cheats", because there's just no way for kio to know as he has no connections whatsoever to the Swedish scene. Just like you. More importantly, you don't speak or understand Swedish and is therefore unable to understand ANY of the sources I referred to in my post, being live streams of fnatic players (which contain a lot of small inside info in Swedish), interviews done by vuggo for fnatic with fnatic players, or their PoV streams from Katowice. Just accept that you have no right, nor knowledge to claim Vuggo is being favored because of his supposed friendship with Fnatic players.

Nice fail. Maybe that's because only 20~ million people in the world know Swedish well enough to have any ability whatsoever to know anything about Vuggo and his connection to Fnatic at this point in time? Aka. only a small portion of Fnatic can even understand this interview: fragbite.se/fragtv/video/2238/olofm-vugg.. or their streams or PoV stream?!?!? And out of those 20 million, few play CS, and ever fewer follow Fnatic at all, and probably none of them as closely as I do. GG NO RE. I'm really just so tired of people, and NA people especially, thinking they have any real knowledge of a foreign scene based on the VERY limited amount of knowledge they have, based on the odd interview people from that scene has given in English. For every English interview or English comment on stream, they make 50 in their own language. I bet you didn't even know about the interviews Fragbite and other national sites do, as they don't reach an international audience. It's like me claiming to know about roster moves or changes in the Polish or CIS scene. So ignorant to think that way.
