Team SoloMid will contest the fragbite Masters Season 4 title with fnatic after edging past Natus Vincere 2-0 (19-17 on de_overpass and de_inferno).
Fresh off beating fellow CIS rivals HellRaisers by a 2-0 scoreline, Na`Vi went into the Consolidation Final determined to book their place in the tournament decider but fully aware of the difficulty of the task ahead as they would have to fend off the threat of TSM, one of the most in-form teams of the moment.
The first map of this best-of-three face-off was de_overpass, where neither side could stamp their authority on the game after 30 rounds as the game remained tied after both teams took nine rounds on the Terrorist side. In overtime, TSM were the stronger side of the two as they claimed four rounds to run out 19-17 victors.
karrigan's clutch at 13-15 on inferno kept his team in the race
The map that followed was de_inferno, where rounds went back and forth during the early stages of the first half before TSM got a grip on the game as they took a 9-6 lead into the break.
Na`Vi came out strongly in the second half and quickly levelled the score. Despite TSM's resilience, the CIS-based team kept pushing and eventually brought the scoreline to 15-13, when an amazing 1vs2 clutch by Finn "karrigan" Andersen in A gave the Danes a lifeline and powered them to take the game to overtime, where they would prevail once again.
