Caster - Commentator - hype/commentate play that happens. Nothing expert or hard about that. And they do a brilliant job at that. Do you cry everytime you watch football and people just state the obvious "he passed to him, he shot with his left foot he's not left footed! but still a good goal! wd wd i like him". It's in all "sports" and I really don't know why CS should be different. for expert analysis of play you have the show afterwards with the ANALYST desk, which is still decent but could be better for this event. However, the casters do a great job and without those 2 particularly the scene might've never developed (twitch scene :p )

It's true that it's like that in every sport, however it really gets boring when it's always the same shitty casters for every event. The demand for new and better casters for CSGO is big.

maybe it's just me but I don't really get bored of that, it's the game that's different. It's probably because in our 3rd world country we have like max 2 casters (1 per game ofc) in football xD

I used to watch all the 1.6 events back when there were any. The commentators were mostly old pros like lurppis, threat, carn and so on, hearing them was a pleasure because they understood the game on a different level. I'd say that semmler and anders haven't even played 5v5 enough, they get mega excited for stuff that happens at every random pug. I really don't enjoy these guys, I think there are many better options in the scene, not exactly other current casters but sure, you can put hiko in a suit and he will do a much finer job than any of these newbs.

Anders and semmler should never cast together, they are both play-by-play casters, so they should always be paired with a color-commentator/expert. I don't fancy their casting style, but I can see why some might do, and I don't really mind if they scream every time kennyS noscopes someone. The thing that makes me cringe is when they start to analyze the game, it's actually painful to listen to, because they don't have the knowledge needed. If cs had a couple of knowledgeable full-time color-commentators, the viewing experience would be so much better. CS really lacks some great casters, but hopefully that will change in time.
