Loord retires; rallen joins INSHOCK

The 28-year-old has decided to call time on an illustrious career that spanned over a decade and peaked when he was part of the former MYM/Frag eXecutors team, one of the most dominant sides in the history of Counter-Strike.

Throughout his 1.6 career, Mariusz "⁠Loord⁠" Cybulski won countless international events, including three WCGs, two ESWCs, one WEG e-Stars and one IEM World Championship.

After switching to CS:GO, however, the 'Golden Five' found success very hard to come by, which resulted in the team, who are currently known as Virtus.pro, replacing him and Jakub "⁠kuben⁠" Gurczyński with two young talents, Paweł "⁠byali⁠" Bieliński and Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski.

Loord went on to create Dobry Gaming, who are currently known as Gamers2, and helped to forge a second Polish team capable of competing abroad by improving the tactical understanding of players like Paweł "⁠innocent⁠" Mocek and Jacek "⁠MINISE⁠" Jeziak.

In May 2014, he signed for INSHOCK, but the team continued to struggle to their mark in the international scene. Their latest event was Copenhagen Games 2015, where they finished 13th-16th.

"The fact that I am leaving INSHOCK does not mean that I will have nothing to do with CS in the future," he wrote on Facebook.

"I stepped down from the team because there was no point at my age to spend so much time playing on a semi-professional level."

Meanwhile, Bartosz "⁠Hyper⁠" Wolny has revealed that Loord's place on the team will be filled by Karol "⁠rallen⁠" Rodowicz, who had been playing for ESC Gaming since being released by Gamers2 last month.

With this change, INSHOCK's lineup is now as follows:
