GPlay upset nV in StarSeries opener

GPlay have caused an upset in the first match of SLTV StarSeries XIII Finals, defeating reigning champions EnVyUs 16-14 on Dust2.

The first match of SLTV StarSeries XIII Finals pitted GPlay against the previous season's champions EnVyUs.

Map veto saw GPlay end up choosing between Inferno and Dust2, and selecting the latter, but the Frenchmen took control early on their T side.

After a 0-5 deficit GPlay started retaliating, but were falling behind 4-11 at the half.

GPlay with a second half comeback and a big upset win to start the day

Upon the change of sides, the Bulgarians came out strong and quickly caught up with nV, evening the score at 12-12.

After exchanging a couple of rounds and setting the score at 13-13, GPlay won a key 3-on-5 situation, and one round later sat on match point, 15-13.

Despite having to force a buy with pistols, nV won the 29th round thanks to a couple of entries by Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon, but it was to no avail as the Frenchmen lost the match to a nail-biting 1-vs-2 clutch by Kamen "⁠bubble⁠" Kostadinov in the very last round.

i didn't bet on this game. i won't bet on 90+ games unless its a throwaway bet on the underdog. the better games to bet on are 50/50 or 60/40 because those odds don't always reflect the real chances a team has to win. betting is about abusing the odds.

french scene lack 1.6. they are just to low to compete. envys was good for a few months until they were new and not researched. now when everyone knows their style they are shit. Big props to VP. the only team who can stay on the top without roster changes.

Titan has been playing bad lately? Last 5 matches: won against Fnatic, won against Na'Vi, won LGB 2-0 in BO3 and took one map in BO2 against EnVyUs. I'd say they've been having better results than they normally would.
