hades out of Tempo Storm

Canadian player Warren "hades" Rettich has parted ways with Tempo Storm, citing personal differences.

It was only in April that Tempo Storm added Warren "⁠hades⁠" Rettich to their lineup, following a streaky path of roster changes for hades himself.

The team went on to post up impressive results in both the ESL ESEA Pro League and CEVO-P Season 7, particularly after adding hotshot Shahzeb "⁠ShahZaM⁠" Khan to its ranks. In the CEVO league in particular, Tempo Storm stand at a favourable 5-5-2 record so far, placing them third in the North American division (three teams advance from that table).

ShahZaM's Tempo Storm lose hades

Things were not proceeding swimmingly within the team itself however, as hades has taken to Twitter to indicate that he has parted ways with the team. To further muddy the waters, ShahZaM alluded to the roster change on Reddit with the implication that hades did not leave the team on his own terms.

Tempo Storm are left with a temporary four-man roster:

Ronnie "⁠ryx⁠" Bylicki
Peter "⁠stanislaw⁠" Jarguz
Mitch "⁠glorinsz⁠" MacInnis
Shahzeb "⁠ShahZaM⁠" Khan

The team's spot in the CEVO finals remains in danger from Liquid, who have two matches in the season left to play out and can still claim the final place to the Season 7 finals.

Ever fucking stupid. He's been the only NA IGL left that doesn't let players' thinking too much and talking too much get in the way of them winning rounds while still maintaining a sound strategic and tactical presence. He does it more like an EU team than anyone on this side but he keeps getting cut or pussy teammates keep pussying out when they get called out for dipshit plays and can't handle criticism.

Is he a rager or someone who talks loud or is mean to his teammates when they do mistakes? Because no one does that in EU other than Eastern Europeans.

from when he streamed his matches on savage he didn't seem like that, but maybe that was just a stream personality. on stream with dazed and ptr and a few others last night hades basically said nobody would really listen to his calls and would go do their own things, and then when the morale got down if they were getting stomped nobody could be pulled back up.

You can call him those but the fact is no NA team has gotten anywhere close to sniffing an EU LAN win without someone like that leading them. Lurppis, tr1p, moto, Rambo, etc all were very unaccepting of subpar play or poor decision making when a teammate knows better or has been drilled and instructed prior. Mistakes are only friendly when the other team makes them. Otherwise they need to be addressed in a concise and precise manner so they can be fixed before they become a liability or an exploit for other teams to take advantage of. Watching TS double peek stuff with perfect shoulder widths between their entry players and seeing how good they got at not leaving resources like nades and time unused or wasted was marvelous. Getting that kind of discipine in an NA team hasn't been seen since EG.usa and Hades has been the only one to not accept anything less than it. That makes him a "danger" to "relationships" or whatever. All that means is NA will continue to win fuck all under the leadership of spineless geeks.

hades' calls are as puggy as Arya. all he does is yell at his teammates and call strats on the fly. There's a reason why he gets cut, and it's not because he's a good IGL rofl

I have no idea if Hades is actually toxic, harsh or if he calls out teammates too much. From what I've seen on streams he doesn't seem worse than other IGLs in that regard. What I do know is that you can't get away with having no clue. Just because someone calls players out for mistakes doesn't mean he is a good IGL. Have you seen the "strats" he ran when he was on Luminosity? The shit they ran was literally the worst I've ever seen from Invite/Pro teams.

There's no denying he made them better with his IGL. But Tempo Storm is a very stat-driven team so when you're constantly bottom fragging, you're gonna get cut.

He's one of the most capable IGL's on NA, doesn't have insane strats but is really good at polishing a team to make it work. But I'm sure being an IGL on NA must be one of the most frustrating things to do since not a single team have proper teamwork and players willing to work that way. Every time hades get kicked the team he left gets a lot worse, Tempo made the same mistake than Luminosity did a few months ago when they seemed to be on the NA top 3 teams. I hope Tempo don't bring in arya this time.
