CEVO have released a high quantity of information concerning the organisation's upcoming Season 7 finals at the MLG Arena in Columbus, Ohio from July 24-26.

The CEVO Professional division seventh season finals will bring together eight teams to compete for a $75,000 prize purse, along with $42,000 provided in travel support.

Three teams per division (North American and European) qualified for the event, along with two invites which were handed out to EnVyUs and fnatic.

However, the latter Swedish team has decided to forego attending the event, citing a packed summer schedule. As a result, fourth place finishers in the European league, Na`Vi, have been invited to attend.

Na`Vi manage to snag a spot at the CEVO finals

CEVO have now released a comprehensive guide to the finals on July 24-26. The format will feature two groups with four teams each, fighting in a GSL style tournament. In lieu of recent tumult over best-of-one group matches, CEVO have revised the format to have all matches play-out in best-of-three series.

Two teams will advance from each group to single-elimination best-of-three playoffs, with a best-of-five grand final. The groups are as follows:

CEVO have now also revealed the casting lineup for the event, which includes several prominent names.

The $75,000 on-site prize purse will be split among the contestants as so:

1. - $30,000 + direct invite to the S8 LAN Finals
2. - $15,000 + direct invite to the S8 LAN Finals
3-4. - $10,000
3-4. - $10,000
5-6. - $5,000
5-6. - $5,000

And as a final piece of information, CEVO have released the schedule for their Season 7 LAN finals.

Friday, July 24th:

01:30 - Groups A & B - Match #2

Saturday, July 25th:

15:45 - Pregame Show
16:00 - Groups A & B - Losers Match
18:30 - Groups A & B - Winners Match

16:00 - Semifinal #1

21:00 - Grand Finals

Due to two group stage games occurring at once, CEVO have committed to running a dual stream set-up at the event, both streams will be found over at MLG.tv. Tickets for the event at the MLG Arena have sold out however CEVO have specified that interested fans can check here in case availabilities open up.

Most of infos are like 1 month old. Also prize pool was told to be bigger because of some donations/sponsored by fans or sth... Why not a word about it now? Anyway terrible crew:/ What about non english casters? Btw. Thorin must be in big desperation now when banned almost in the whole europe :D 1-2 years ago he said he will never travel far for events because he hates it :D Btw2. Thank god for LG. 2 easy all in bets.

the prizepool is what they promised 75k prize and 45k travel support this was known from the start, casters are from CEVO thats normal Ananlysts are great scoots will prolly be the panel leader. Non English streams dont know what to say other then, who cares....?

actually the casting lineup is pretty good. i dislike scoots as an analyst. dunno why he would be anything but a host. and ive never heard this launders guy cast anything so im gonna assume he sucks. the rest is good the american casters are better than we think.

mouz beat VP twice in Bo3 on LAN and did a good job against nV c9 got lucky on ESL ESEA to face CLG in the semis... if it would be VP instead of clg they would NEVER reach the final

ESWC this upcoming weekend, FACE IT Finals at Dreamhack Valencia next weekend, CEVO the weekend after. Then a two week break, Gfinity, and finally Cologne. 6 major international lan tournaments in 2 months. It's a great time to be a CS fan.

If it were bo1s I would feel like it's still a scary group for c9, as both mouse and liquid could upset them after anti-strating their crazy showing yesterday. But since it's bo3s, it SHOULD be a pretty easy group stage for c9, other than nip. Based on eslesea form tho, c9 was looking a lot more competitive than nip has in months
