Acer release CS:GO team
Acer has announced that it has parted ways with its CS:GO team with immediate effect.
The future of the Swedish team had been up in the air after Björn "THREAT" Pers revealed that he was retiring from gaming to move to Tokyo.
Since then, Acer had been forced to field substitutes in their official matches, including in the grand final of the Swedish Championship, which they lost 0-2 to Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Acer's CS:GO team is no more
Earlier on Friday, Acer withdrew from the Ballistix CS:GO Challenge, leading to suggestions that the players had decided to go their separate ways.
Acer has now revealed that all players have been released from their contracts as the team had been depleted to just two men following the departures of Christian "Spitfire" Schiölde and Fredrik "slap" Junbrant.
"Team Acer would like to apologize to the CS:GO community for the recent disappointments," Team Acer CEO Uwe Semtner said.
"As you know CS:GO is very important to us - not just as a team, but as a community, and this chapter is not closed.
"In fact, our CS:GO Female team is currently in Canada fighting to defend their World Championship title, so please take all your support and push our ladies to the win in Montreal."
The following players are now looking for new teams:
Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström
John "wenton" Eriksson
Christian "Spitfire" Schiölde
Fredrik "slap" Junbrant
Christian 'Spitfire' Schiölde
