We caught up with Ryan 'fREAKAZOiD' Abadir after his team's win over Liquid in the quarter-finals of ESWC 2015.

In the first quarter-final match-up of the day, Cloud9 dueled with Liquid and defeated their American rivals 2-0: 16-11 on de_overpass and 16-14 on de_inferno.

The game however was not as airtight as last weekend's ESL ESEA Season 1 finalists would have liked it to be, as we found out in our interview with Ryan "⁠freakazoid⁠" Abadir. We also discussed freakazoid's adjustment to playing on such a high profile team, the possibility of Cloud9 moving into a gaming house in the future, and other topics.

I think that it honestly doesn't matter because Cloud9 apparently have a larger map pool than we realized. I'd be shocked if they 2-0 nV again, but in all honesty I expect a 2-1 scoreline from Cloud9, nV winning Inferno/Mirage and C9 winning Cache/D2 and Overpass/Cobble/Train

Because you're making it seem like it's just americans that are complaining. Its not. The best team in the world from Sweden does not like this either. People from multiple countries don't like this because no other professional sport does it. That's like letting rival football teams record what the coaches say on comms and listen to them once game is over. No sport does that Its easier to do this for counter strike because this is a video game but that does not mean it's a good decision.

you know english because its an international language. if you're born into a country that speaks an international language, there's no reason to learn another language unless you're interested in it specifically or you're moving/whatever. you weren't born in a country that speaks an international language, therefore you know your own language and english, just like i know norwegian/danish/swedish and english. it's really not that odd.
