CEVO S8 Placement group draw

Prior to the start of each CEVO season, a placement tournament is held to determine the final two participants in the Professional division - featuring the strongest teams and the highest prizes.

Sixteen teams from both Europe and North America will take part in the placement tournaments, which will kick off with a round-robin group stage. 

Team Kinguin will try to qualify for CEVO's professional division 

The top two sides from each group will advance to a double-elimination bracket featuring a best-of-three format to determine which two teams will be placed in the Professional season.

CEVO Season 8 Placement Schedule:

• Group Round 1 - July 20-21
• Group Round 2 - July 22-28
• Group Round 3 - July 29-30
• Playoffs - August 2-11 

Meanwhile, CEVO has announced that the Season 8's Professional division will conclude with the offline finals at the MLG.tv arena, in Columbus, Ohio from November 6-8.
