RUBINO to miss Cologne qualifier

LGB eSports member Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel will not compete at the offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne due to medical reasons, the team have revealed.

The Norwegian player has been advised by his doctor to avoid travelling for him not to risk aggravating the problem, which was not disclosed by the team.

Besides missing the qualifier for the upcoming major, next weekend, Ruben "⁠RUBINO⁠" Villarroel will also not play any part in the team's campaign at the Acer Predator Masters finals, in Krefeld, Germany, from July 30 to August 2.

RUBINO misses two events due to serious health issues

Replacing RUBINO at both events will be Kristoffer "⁠Mystic⁠" Michelsen, who was part of LGB's roster right until DreamHack Summer, when the team decided to pick up Morten "⁠zEVES⁠" Vollan Christensen and Martin "⁠cENTRYZ⁠" Brandal.

Instead we will bring in Kristoffer 'Mystic' Michelsen in the Qualifier and Offline Finals for APM.

The team is currently Bootcamping in Norway and Mystic will arrive tomorrow and play with the team.

rubino doesnt call, at least i dont think so. zeves calls when he is playing but in the time that he was off the team i believe it was polly calling

Yep. Rubino helped with mid round calls too when zeves was out. Those two should never go back to calling eighter, was horrible. They need zeves to call either as a player or coach.

Well he is actually now a official player of LC. But when he was a part of LGB they never let him play in 1st team because of that story that he use or at least used aimlock. However that was never confirmed and he never got banned. His account did got banned but only after it was stolen. So... We basically don't know if it was because of Mystic cheating or that other dude. Since nothing is proved LGB didn't want to take the risk. And that lead them to become a really poor team. Not even tier2 anymore! They have solid team now just as Mystic has. And i don't think that Mystic cheats so when the time come they will face a defeat of LC and they will be sorry that they let Mystic away just because of unproven story.
