Virtus.pro beat Na`Vi to win CEVO S7
Virtus.pro are the CEVO Season 7 champions after picking up a 3-1 victory over Natus Vincere (16-8 on de_overpass, 16-11 on de_cache, 7-16 on de_cobblestone and 19-15 on de_mirage).
The title decider of CEVO Season 7's Professional division was a rematch of the one-sided Upper Bracket final of Group B, which had gone the way of Virtus.pro. In the semi-finals, Na`Vi had been able to dispose of mousesports on two maps, but they knew that going up against Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas's men was a completely different task.
The opening map of this best-of-five series was de_overpass, where Na`Vi claimed bragging rights first following an A push in the pistol round. The CIS-based side then lost control of the game, despite Denis "seized" Kostin coming within touching distance of winning a 1vs5 clutch.
Virtus.pro exerted their dominance on the game for the rest of the half, which allowed them to bring the scoreline to 11-4. The second round was keenly contested as rounds kept going back and forth, but in the end the Polish team ran out 16-8 winners and took a 1-0 lead in the series.

pasha silenced critics with a great display in the final
The map that followed was de_cache, were Na`Vi turned in an impressive display on the CT side to take a five-round lead going into the break. However, Virtus.pro responded in convincing fashion in the second half and quickly overturned the deficit, dropping just one round on the defensive side before sealing a 16-11 triumph that put them just one map away from victory.
Both teams then moved on to de_cobblestone, where Na`Vi once again were the better side after 15 rounds as they enjoyed a 9-6 lead. The Terrorist side is usually the favoured on this map, but Virtus.pro were simply unable to break through their opponents' defense, and so they dropped their first map of the series.

flamie topped the scoreboard for Na`Vi
Virtus.pro got off to a flying start on de_mirage on the back of a stunning pistol ace from Filip "NEO" Kubski, but Na`Vi picked themselves up and closed out the half up by 10-5. The Polish team then strung several rounds together during the early stages of the second half to put Na`Vi in danger of getting blown out.
With Virtus.pro getting just two rounds way from victory, Na`Vi took several rounds in a row to restore parity at 14-14. Then, a quad kill from Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski put Virtus.pro on match point, but Na`Vi refused to throw in the towel and took the game to overtime, in which the Poles won four rounds straight to seal a 3-1 overall victory.
