Na`Vi edge past CLG

Natus Vincere are through to the quarter-finals of ESL One Cologne after beating CLG 16-14 on de_cobblestone.

Starting off on the Terrorist side, CLG came out the gate looking scary and took the first three rounds with ease. The first gun round then went Na`Vi's way, but their inability to build on that win hurt their economy as they were forced to go on a double eco.
After finding themselves down 1-6, Na`Vi were able to lock down the B site and finally start to build up their bank. Still, CLG refused to let go and maintained a solid three-round lead at the end of the half.
The second half began with Tarik "tarik" Celik almost pulling off an incredible a 1-vs-3 clutch in the A site, only to be denied by Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács. Na`Vi followed it up with one eco round but then they were stunned as CLG won the round with nothing to work with except pistols.
Na`Vi then embarked on a fantastic run and won five rounds in a row to bring the scoreline to 13-10. Many believed that the game was about to come to a close, but CLG tightened up in defence and equalised the game on 13 rounds, forcing Na`Vi to call a timeout.

North American fans have been left with no teams to cheer on

The following round then also went to CLG, but that was as far as they went, as Na`Vi picked up three rounds in a row to seal a 16-14 win and book a spot in the quarter-finals with blood, sweat and tears.

He has been stepping up a lot recently. Na'Vi did give him a lot of free frags though, and he didn't really "crush" guardian. Sure he won in duels 5:3, but he never entryfragged guardian. I think he actually only killed him once in awp vs awp battle which was the time he took down both zeus and guardian when zeus was boosting guardian

yeah that's right. but the fact that he had 32 kills is nice anyway. Never thought that he would be capable to carry his team.

JDM was out of touch with CS for quite a while, when these same guys were playing under NetcodeGuides name he used to carry that team really hard and was almost equally good as Skadoodle with the AWP. Then the team was going to become full time pro-players and he didn't wanted to and made a step aside and Ptr arrived.

Actually, watch FNS. FNS makes more mistakes than tarik by far--like in that 2v1, when he was wandering through the bombsite rather than hiding.

This is guardian's worst map . Reallly fucking horrible at it. Dont u remember esl one katowice, where in the last map ( cbble) of bo3 against NV , guardian was playing so fucking bad, edward had to awp :/ . They lost obviously, but guardian was not at all having a bad day coz in the previous map he destroyed nv ( dust2) single handedly. He is really bad at this map. Period.

not a terrible idea...Cutler would have to igl, ofc. Maybe something like this: reltuC (igl) Hik0 (lurk) nitr0 (entry--if he refuses to do his job right, make ELiGE do it then) tarik (second entry/carry) jdm (awp) The problem is, I think Hiko and tarik might play the same positions on a couple maps. And of course, a lineup like this wouldn't happen right now anyway.
