Our first ESL One Cologne playoffs interview is with Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt after EnVyUs advanced to the semi-finals over Natus Vincere.

We have our first semi-finalists for ESL One Cologne following EnVyUs' double comeback victory against Natus Vincere, as they were losing 7-13 on de_inferno and 1-8 on de_mirage as Counter-Terrorists.

In the following video interview Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt talked us through about EnVyUs' group stage run and both the maps in the quarter-finals, as well as the potential match-ups in the first semi-final tomorrow.

So, you agree that it doesn't widen the weapon pool right? And ridiculous weapon has nothing to do with how much it's used. A sniper rifle should never be accurate while jumping, otherwise might as well make a fast paced shooter, not a tactical shooter.

"Meta takes time to change." Last change of the scout was in summer 2014. It doesn't take one year for pros to figure out if a weapon is worth integrating in the weapon pool. The fact that it's not in the weapon pool now means that it will remain a forcebuy weapon (unless of course the weapon is changed again). "Of course it does, people who are trying to win will exploit the most out of what they have their disposal." No it doesn't. You're the one talking about OP. I never said it was OP, I said it was ridiculous. It's ridiculous not because it grants kills in a forcebuy, it's ridiculous because a tactical shooter is not meant to have yolo weapons like a sniper which with you can jump shot people from the other side of the map. Again, if you want this kind of weapon, then we should make CS a fast-paced shooter (which we don't want, because it wouldn't be CS anymore). Even the CZ shouldn't be here, but at least it's so nerfed now that it's not that big of a deal. "Are you the president of intellectual orthodoxy to throw facts like this ?" It's not facts, it's logic based on facts. Tactical shooters are one thing, fast paced shooters are another thing. I'm sure you're aware of the differences between a game like CS and a game like CoD? Right? Now if you argue that CS should become a fast-paced shooter, then it's another debate, and then I understand why you would consider the scout a good weapon for the game.

Lol @ people blaming the stupid scouts he did on Mirage B Site. When in actuality only he could've done it so perfectly that the defense would've been darn near impenetrable. On top of that without a good team, even when he did it before with the previous line-up, they still got rekt. If it was so good, you'd see everyone else doing the same thing except no one could reach his level with scouting. It takes skill to do ridiculous things and people just blame it as stupid bs. I'd like to see the people calling it stupid try it themselves and get as successful as NBK was at it.
