iBP Fall Invitational with $15,000

iBUYPOWER have announced that its next Invitational tournament will have a prize fund of $15,000.

Two months after iBUYPOWER's second Invitational cup came to a close, the North American company returns with a brand new tournament, to take place from September 12-13.

Eight teams from across North America will compete in a best-of-three, single-elimination bracket for the bulk of the $15,000 prize pool.


Luminosity won the last iBP Invitational

Luminosity Gaming are the defending iBP Invitational Champions after winning the Summer tournament while still playing under Keyd Stars. The Brazilian team defeated Team Liquid 2-0 in the grand final to take home the first prize of $7,500.

I honestly love these its one of the few NA only tournaments that show the state of NA unlike the nightly scrims and matches. I truely feel these show the colors of NA and I enjoy some good NA v NA action. But I fear this opinion is unpopular so hello hate ^_^

Mawte, Idk if they'll be top1 or top1000, no idea, never saw them playing against NA/EU teams, they can play great or they can choke. What I can say is: They're a young team with a lot of potential. They got the opportunity to stay in NA due to a championship created by FalleN that hey won (FalleN is the owner of Games Academy and he's sponsoring the boys to stay in NA). They were always taking ex-Keyd (with zqk) to their max level, and they won a championship against ex-Keyd winning by 2-0 1 week before keyd went to katowice. That's it mate, they have the potential this is all I can say, but if they'll play great, idk.

yes I am. they haven't compete on NA yet, back in brazil they always put up a good fight against LG. Its just my intuition saying that they can be top5. TACO can be really insane, and Fnx is getting to his old 1.6 form. it is a good team, that have a lot of room to improve and help improve NA as well, just like Lg is doing.

Honestly i think they could have been set on Premier or even Professional, but I guess there are some rules. As far as I know they will face no problem climbing the divisions. But I might be underestimating main and premier league level. They will play on LAN next week so we might get a real idea of they level.
