Participants for EM3 updated

As you might have noticed, several qualifiers for Extreme Masters III have been covered here on the page. There are still a few qualifiers running, here’s an update on the qualified teams so far.

Last night we saw the clash of the Swedish titans when fnatic and SK Gaming meet in the upper-bracket final. The match should decide who would qualify directly to the main round and would drop into the lower-bracket to fight for the last spot directly to the main round. SK Gaming got their revenge on fnatic and hereby secured a spot in the main round.

Other qualifications have been finished too and teams from Ukraine, Greece, Russia, Lithuania, Hungary and Portugal can now be found on the participants list.

As mentioned, there is still a few qualifiers running, including Sweden, Norway, Romania, Russia, Finland and United Kingdom.

Following qualification matches will take place tonight.

19:00 CET – forZe vs. EYESports
20:00 CET – Evilzone vs. Begrip
20:00 CET – carried by OmeN vs. Fides Aeterna
21:00 CET – Excello vs. oxzyn

Because they won vs fnatic yesterday and secured a spot for the main round.. fnatic must play lower bracket matches first..

It is pod.hama, with the new lineup, the organisation earned the spot not the players. Just like PGS got ESWC Champions, and not the players, thats why it did not go to MYM.
