ESWC release seeds

The organizing committee of ESWC announces the draw pools for the ESWC Grand Final 2008.

ESWC Grand Final 2008 is just around the corner. Today the organizing committee of ESWC has released the draw pools, as the previous years, consist of a total of four pools. The teams will be divided in eight groups of five teams each. Teams finishing first and second in each group will advance to the second group stage.
Each pool will be randomly composed by one from each seed pool and two to three for the challenger’s pool, depending on the tournament. A group cannot consist of more than one team from one nationality, should a team be drawn into a group with a team from the same nationality, the team is put aside and another participant will be drawn.

The teams have been seeded by their previous results in ESWC, ESWC Masters, national finals and other major competitions.

The group draw till take place this Monday the 18th of August, starting at 15:00CET.

HLTV.org will be following the group drawn and will on-site in San Jose to cover the ESWC Grand Final, August 25-27th.

Well I think mibr isn't same team which won this titles. Cogu and more were in old line-up and now they'r playing CSS.

I agree, u're right. The 06's lineup is a lot better. :| But i think that they are considering the previous good results to form pools independent of the lineups. Haha, c'mon 0k'21. I'm hot, look at my teeth. :B

Fnatic should be at "High seed" I can't see them at top seed becouse they arn't good Also it's fun to see everybody tip fnatic as a higer final rank then SK, I can tell you that wont happend!
