Infused add CRUC1AL
Team Infused marks a return of former player Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel to its lineup.
Team Infused have been a team undergoing roster consolidation throughout the year, with the latest edition having taken place in July when the team brought in Phil "Whindanski" Nicholas to replace George "hudzG" Hoskins.
The team also failed to make a mark on the local LAN that was Insomnia 55, with Infused going out in third place behind Choke and EZskins.com.
The team have attempted to strengthen its roster by bringing back Dutchman Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel, who played for Infused earlier this year. CRUC1AL will fill the roster in Luke "KritikaL" Green's place, whom the team decided to part ways with.
CRUC1AL returns to Infused, his UK-based berth of earlier this year
CRUC1AL had been plying his trade with Belgians in recent performances, most recently being signed by ZAGA Talent. His return to Infused marks an attempt to coalesce within the British scene rather than back on the continent.
Team captain James "redSNK" Littlewood released a statement on the signing of CRUC1AL:
"It was clear from the results both before and at iseries, that we were missing that true AWPer for the team. I've played with Joey before and I know exactly what to expect with him and he provides us the AWP play style that we really need. It's no lie that since Joey left previously, that we both wanted to play again with each other in the future and that time has come. I'm really excited and look fowards to the future with the roster change.
We have some good tournaments coming up with EPS, Gfinity Masters and we have also just been invited to Go Champions League in which we will face our first round opponents Hellraisers on Saturday! We'd like to give a big thanks to Andrew, Alan, Adam and all of our sponsors for everything they do to make this possible for us," Littlewood said.
The Infused management also added their own thoughts to the acquisition:
"Today, we can officially announce the change in Infused CSGO which sees the departure of Luke "Kritikal" Green who has been great to work with over the last 3months and welcome back Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel. With the roster now finalized we look forwards to seeing how the team can do in the upcoming weeks. Especially with another awesome announcement coming today."
