PENTA sign Spiidi, tahsiN

PENTA Sports have announced that their CS:GO team is now complete following the arrivals of Tahsin "tahsiN" Sarikaya and Timo "Spiidi" Richter.

The duo had widely been expected to join PENTA after playing for the team as stand-ins following the release of Dimitrios "⁠stavros⁠" Smoilis and Christian "⁠crisby⁠" Schmitt.

The move signaled the organisation's intentions of turning the team's fortunes around following a series of mixed results, which culminated with a failed bid to qualify for ESL One Cologne.

Spiidi returns to PENTA

Tahsin "⁠tahsiN⁠" Broschk joins PENTA after guiding KILLERFISH to the top of the German scene even through a difficult period in which the team was accused of match-fixing. Timo "⁠Spiidi⁠" Richter, on the other hand, returns to the team he left in May after finding himself on the fringes of the action in mousesports following Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač's return to the active lineup.

"First of all, I would like to thank my former mousesports team-mates for some really great times," Richter told PENTA's website.

"Now I return to my old team of PENTA. I think that we can achieve something and I hope I will be able to continue where I left off.

"I would also like to thank my fans, who support me wherever I am!"

PENTA Sports now have the following lineup:

I think so, but more on the lower end of T2, it's still nice for me to see a second decent German team :)

no, crisby and stavros were too weak. but spiidi and tahsin are an excellent addition to penta, hope that will give them some motivation.

They don't play the same positions LOL. That's like saying they should replace their awper with an IGL, it makes no sense. Spiidi = rifler, Denis= support.

Positions =/= roles LOL. Gob used denis as an entry back then they kicked spiidi. Spiidi is way more consistent and puts up more frags than denis. I mean ok, use spiidi as an rifle/support but why would I keep a player that frags less than the one I kick? Get it?

it's just random, denis performed better than everyone in mouz at that major. that doesn't make him better than nex or chrisj though, overall spiidi is a better player.
