hades departs FolloweSports.com
Canadian player Warren "hades" Rettich has parted ways with FolloweSports.com, following an apparent dispute with the organisation.
FolloweSports.com, an esports coverage hub, signed the SKDC team following positive results from the Canadian players as well as them having a spot in the new season of the $500,000 ESL ESEA Pro League.
The team recently managed to secure its most high-profile upset in the current North American season, defeating Cloud9 19-16 on de_mirage in the ESL ESEA Pro League.
However, Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien's men have been dealt a serious blow with player Warren "hades" Rettich taking to Twitter to announce that he has parted ways with the organisation in a dispute that is apparently not related to other players but rather with owners of the organisation itself.
Diligent watchers of hades's stream were able to extract the further explanation that the player had been contacted by other organisations, and the news somehow leaked to FolloweSports.com, leading to a termination of contract.
FolloweSports.com's roster is reduced to:
Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien
Ellis "els" Clay
Owen "wabbit" Farrelly
Derek "desi" Branchen (stand-in)
FolloweSports.com are currently taking part in CEVO-P Season 8 (0-5-3), ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2 (3-2), and have made it to the playoffs of the RGN Freedom! Cup.
due to unfortunate circumstances between me and the organization (not the team) i will no longer be playing for FE.
