StarSeries XIV Europe group draw

The draw for the first round of the European SL i-League StarSeries division has taken place, with the teams having been drawn into four groups.

Sixteen teams from across Europe will be competing in the European division of StarSeries XIV, which will give away five spots at the season finals, in Minsk.

The opening stage sees the 16 participants split into four groups of four teams, who will face each other in best-of-three matches. The top two sides from each group move on to the next stage, while the bottom two are eliminated.

TSM handed tough group

The second group stage, featuring two groups of four teams, will also feature a round-robin, best-of-three format. The two strongest sides from each group automatically qualify for the offline finals, while the third and fourth-placed teams will fight for the final European spot at the finals via a last-chance tournament, which will be played in a single-elimination bracket format.

A & D are definitely harder then VP's group.. VP will have no problem with any of their teams.

Pretty sure all groups have around the same difficulty, not to mention with how shit navi and fnatic have been lately, group A is the easiest, but it is still as balanced as the rest. Every group is pretty much t1 + high_t2 + mid_t2 + low_t2.

and what is their current form? Qualifying to major by beating Vietnamese, then 1-1 vs property, losing to nip,tsm,dignitas,hr. Nothing outstanding that implies they gona be a top team now, i'd say even new hr got more potential

Well the HR team hasn't shown anything yet, why would I assume them to be relevant before something happens? Sure, they can cause an upset but I should be pretty clear Titan goes trough and TSM gets passed easily. Personally I do think it's easier for Titan to beat TSM over HR since they lack the data to confront the latter. The HR line up does seem stronger than the one before but the consistency and the fact that HR always sucked in Bo3 before don't really impress me.

A - fnc / na`vi B - envy / dig C - vp / g2 D - tsm titan so clear...

A : fnatic + Natus Vincere (Easiest group). B : EnVyUs + dignitas (It'll be a tough BO3 vs F3). C : VP + G2 (Not so easy but G2 can do it). D : TSM + Titan/HR (depends if HR sucks or plays well). EDIT : TSM handed tough group, top kek HLTV.

Why do people think that Dignitas is actually a good team? They're shit, MSL is the worst IGL you can possibly get as a pro player. All of his teams have been shit. Fside will probably be the second.
