Team YP have announced that they are looking to venture into the Counter-Strike scene and sign their own team.

YouPorn, one of the most popular porn websites in the world, has spent the last year sponsoring teams and players under the banner of Team YP, which currently supports five different games, including Dota 2 and Ultra Street Fighter VI.

I don't get why everyone is making fun of this lol... YP actually has money and is way more legit than those gambling sites. Yeah, its porn, but to be fully honest I'd rather a porn site sponsor a team than a gambling site. The number of lives ruined, like legit ruined, by porn is very few compared to what gambling can do to people. Porn is a time sink, gambling is a time sink and a serious drain on money and is way more dangerous to young people than porn.

they had a chance 2 years ago or whatever when they signed that DOTA team, sponsorships were scarce in NA and the deals players overseas had were bad. it's too little too late, a ton of money has been pumped into the scene. now, its slim pickins. they won't get a good team, and they'll likely drop the team they sign after a few failed runs. good luck to whoever gets it I guess. maybe if they wait until a specific team contract expires they can poach someone worth having.
