FACEIT to run Pro League show

FACEIT will be running a weekly show that is related to its newly launched Pro League matchmaking feature.

The FACEIT Pro League was launched to much fanfare back in August, and provided Europe's best players with a platform to compete against each other, somewhat akin to North America's "10 man" system albeit for much more money (with $20,000 distributed each month to the system's top 15 players).

The Pro League system has been credited by players such as fnatic's Jesper "⁠JW⁠" Wecksell with bringing up-and-coming players such as Tomáš "⁠oskar⁠" Šťastný to notice and it has also featured prominently on the streams of numerous European players.

ddk and JZFB will run a weekly FACEIT Pro League show

FACEIT will attempt to capitalise on the Pro League's hype by running a weekly show featuring its two signature casters: Daniel “ddk” Kapadia and James “JZFB” Bardolph.

The show promises tips and tricks, interviews, exciting guests, and casts of some of the best FPL matches as they occur. The first episode goes live tomorrow, Thursday October 15, at 20:00 on twitch.tv/faceittv.

this is awesome news! faceit has done alot of good for CSGO. It's early days in HellRaisers but I doubt they would be doing as well without FPL right now and FPL is just one of many things.

Because playing CS on EU servers is much worse than playing Doto on EU servers. Basically US players would have no chance winning money, because their perfomance would be shit because of bad ping.

Well the FPL in Dota are seperate.. 1 NA and 1 EU while in CSGO it's only EU.. I'm sure Faceit has NA servers but since ESEA has the NA region locked it would be harder to get people into FPL....

Fpl would be only relevant if there is any pro scene and if people are willing to play on the faceit client. ESEA dominates the NA region. The player base there won't budge unless faceit implements better incentives for NA players to move over. Asia is too scattered apart to play at a decent ping/No strong scene Oceania doesn't have a strong scene but can show promise
