mouz defeat SK in thriller match

Four teams remain in the ESWC 2008 tournament in San Jose, USA.

Only four teams remain. SK, mTw, emuLate and Alternate were defeated, but none of the teams went down without a fight, all three matches ended 2:1, and mousesports looked like sure losers at the side change on inferno. They however pulled up an enormous comeback, and won 16:14 on inferno.

In the last quarter-final, MYM managed to overcome emuLate on the last map, with a very confident 16:1 win on de_nuke. The Polish team will now be up against mousesports, who sent the Poles home at ESWC Masters.

This leaves us with the following matchups for the coming semi-finals at ESWC 2008.

[upcomingbooked,14,741042]
[upcomingbooked,14,741043]

Fnatic and e-STRO met not long ago at e-Stars in Seoul where fnatic won in overtime. This time however it is best of three maps, and e-STRO has lost their home field advantage. In the other match MYM is facing mousesports, last the two teams met was at ESWC Masters where mousesports beat the Polish powerhouse 17:13, but again this is best of three maps, and with mousesports only barely beating SK they will need to bring their a game to beat always strong MYM.

mouz didn't deserve the win AT all.. SK need to drop spawn or walle and bring in some new faces if they want to actually WIN tournaments.

You can't say they didn't deserve it at all - they did well to come back. However, I agree that SK need to change something to start winning :]

If they want to win, they should pick up another Tentpoles. SK 2009: allen, walle, RobbaN, Tentpole1 and Tentpole2.

Sorry #1 but after a poor performance on train and dust2 mousesports did deserve the win after that comeback. I wanted SK to win as they never win at ESWC but I'm glad that mousesports won because they are kinda the underdogs. I agree with the comments about SK's lineup it needs to change if they want results. Bring HeatoN back? :D

with the loss of weight he also lost his skill and gamesense. The skinnier he gets the worse he is doing.

JAEGARN and threat are complete shitters when it comes to CS compared to anyone in SK. Yes at the moment things seem dark or SK even though they did deliver a good terr half on de_inferno against mouz their CT side was one of the worst iv ever seen. And thats because of one reason - SpawN and Walles individual skills are shot it seems. Walle seems to be using the AK47 more and more instead of using the awp. And finally when he did use the awp vs mouz, he lost an entire round just cause he could shoot a guy standing still in the back. But SK has a motto and that is that friendship and team chemistry > skill.. p.s. sorry for the long reply :E

SpawN needs to take matches more serious, he's been playing since YEARS! a match/tournament like this, is like a pub for him. IMO, he doesn't want to try harder to win. I've seen him playing 100% and he's like a "one-man team" He better starts playing better, or SK Gaming should look for another younger player
