pyth parts ways with Winterfox

Swedish player Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi has officially confirmed that he has parted ways with Winterfox, a team whose core is situated in North America.

Following the announcement of Winterfox's signing of Mythic before the major qualifiers at DreamHack Open Stockholm, the team afterward quickly lost their motivational trade winds due to numerous issues.

Following the major qualifiers, three of Winterfox's players remained behind in Europe for supposed visa problems, meaning that the team had to play in North American leagues with overall high ping, leading to poor records in CEVO Season 8 and ESL ESEA Pro League's second season.

I'm not playing for Winterfox as I decided to leave the team after the major qualifiers, this has nothing to do with recent results.

Jacob "⁠pyth⁠" Mourujärvi has now confirmed on Twitter that he will no longer play as part of Winterfox's five, something which has been apparent recently as the team have taken to using stand-ins such as Kyle "⁠flowsicK⁠" Mendez and most recently Ronnie "⁠ryx⁠" Bylicki to fill-in for their Swedish players.

Fifflaren has never been a good AWP but a decent IGL. According to GeT_RiGhT, Fifflaren's impact in ex-NiP was huge, not only as a player but as a mate. Teams are not only 5 men who play CS. A team is also a group of 5 guys who shares a part of career together and some guys are really good at being part of it (solving human issue, motivating mates, handling psychologic aspects of the game). Some guys are really valuable in this aspect and the secret of the kind of teams who are successful without being really skilled is there. Devilwalk is one of these guys, with his experience and his leadership abilities. Like the kind of player like Karrigan or Happy who were able to raise a team in the top with guys with guys that the scene would have never bet on. P.S: HUNDEN never achieved nothing, devilwalk and Fifflaren did, they won majors

it's about team play, not about who has the better aim! if your teammate don't flash the site for you, or let you enter the site alone, doesn't matter how better aim u'll have, if you have 3 t's holding the site with a patato aim, you will day anyways. and yeah, this is about game sense aswell. you can try to peak and maybe get one kill. if the other team plays with time, again, u can have the most epic aim of all time, u will never win the round, cause they will spam you, they will hold solid angles, and have a better position than u. this is what counter strike is all about. if you are not smart enough, ur aim will never save u, in any situation.

ur retarded. ye, u need a certain amount of gamesense. every pro player has it, although some make mistakes in the heat of the moment. this game is not very complicated although to u it may seem so. the real difference maker on the top level is consistently being able to outaim the opponent. this is not matchmaking. u think happy is smarter than taz? i dont think so. yet how do u explain that happy is ranked top5-10 player in the world and taz is ranked idk, somewhere around top30-40? aim, dude.

that's not true. what's the reason for a team like fnatic, who won a major, holding a player like him for over a year, if he is a bodybag like you call him? i agree that his aim is not perfect, and in that point, he is loosing ground by far to other players. in terms of game sense, and smart playing, he really knows what he is doing. and to serve as proof, u saw that he was a good damn coach. like #248 said, devilwalk has one of the best minds playing this game. it's just sad, that you guys only look at how many headshot % a player has. if a guy in a round, don't kill any members of the opposite team, but takes 90% of life to every one of them, and comes another player and scores an ace with a spray, who the hell you think it was the most important player in that round?

ptr, naf, anger, pyth and lex was a pretty good team, actually. At least in paper. You have a good AWPer, 3 really good fraggers and a support player that doesn't suck.

I agree that pyth is good, I just don't think he would actually improve NiP. don't get me wrong, I swear by god that I'm not trying to be a NiP fanboy here, but NiP is already top 6 in the world, pyth by himself won't change that to a higher level. Maybe it would improve a little bit, just not enough.

pyth is a tier 2/3 swedish player with an ego, he will be lucky if he ever plays in a good tier 2 team again... sure he has some good moments but overall hes an average swedish player pyth would probs struggle to get into torpedo..and people here are saying he should be playing in NiP over players like twist #hltv

Pyth is one of the most sincere csgo players there is, he has no ego, idk why you think he has an ego. And he I an extremely talented play, not just average. He has stood in for NiP before, and he top fragged. He would be a fantastic addition to NiP in my opinion

He was born and raised in france, and also started playing cs there and went pro in european cs back in the days. U can get him out of europe, but u cant get europe out of him , lol :D
