FalleN: I wanna go to semis this time

Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo shed some light on Luminosity's point of view on the fnatic upset, looking ahead to quarter-finals and more.

After starting off with an eight-round streak to make a smaller upset happen against Cloud9 on de_dust2 yesterday, Luminosity switched up the gear and took down fnatic as well after a game full of momentum shifts.

We had a chance to talk to Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo from the Brazilian side to see what the AWPer's point of view was on Luminosity's way to playoffs and the event itself:

I really cheer for LG, been doing it since the last major. They got some really good potential and they really show that they can without doubt win versus any team in the world. The biggest misstake by them was to move to NA instead of EU tho, I think they would become ALOT better if they played agianst real teams(sorry NA, but you only have 3-4 teams that is decent).

FalleN said they only pracc with bad teams. C9, CLG and Liquid don't wanna pracc against them cuz they are top1 contenders So, they have to play against t2 teams like Method etc that sucks

I don't think that was possible for them. The only reason they were able to move to US is because they have a friend who were willing to have the whole team to live with him, and KeyD couldn't really afford much. After that they manage to sign with Luminosity and I think that now they have to stay in NA because of the org. The only way they could live in EU would be if an EU org sign'em, which is unlikely. Also, the CSGO world is a hard "place" to succeed, there is alot of potential around the world just waiting for some opportunity. There's no guarantee they would be good enough to justify this move.

indeed they would, but in EU they would be just another t1 team, and would be require to play lot more, get lot more of exposure... maybe it would be good for their evolution but would lose some of the surprise and magic of seeing they playing.
