Pantamera Challenge breaks $12k barrier
ESL has announced that the prize pool for the Pantamera CS:GO Challenge has broken the 102,000 SEK ($12,000) barrier.
Back in June, Inferno Online unveiled the first details about the second edition of the Pantamera CS:GO Challenge, a tournament supported by Returpack, a Swedish recycling company, as part of a campaign called Pantamera för eSporten (Recycle more for eSports).
Since July, Returpack has been using the money generated from recycling the bottles and the metal cans collected at Inferno Online's gaming centers to increase the prize pool of the tournament.

Currently, the prize money stands at 102,982 SEK ($12,069), and, with four months left until the event, Inferno Online believes that it is possible to beat the record of the first event, which gave away 239,001 SEK ($28,010).
The Pantamera CS:GO Challenge will take place in February, at Inferno Stockholm, featuring eight teams. Half of those spots will be filled through invites, while two of them will be determined by an online qualifier with the top-placed sides of the ESL Go4 Cups held every Wednesday from August 5 to November 25. The final two spots have not yet been announced.
