Na`Vi dominate NiP; to grand final

Natus Vincere join EnVyUs in the DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca grand final after a dominating performance over NiP (de_train 16-3, de_dust2 16-6).

The second semi-final of NiP and Na`Vi started off on de_trainwith a seven-round streak from the latter off the back of Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács and Egor "⁠flamie⁠" Vasilyev, without being too contested in either of them.

Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli's triple with an AWP was enough to stop the streak, but not enough to prolong their own, as Na`Vi broke their opponent's economy for two rounds in a row for 10-1.

The Finn brought another highlight-worthy action in round 12, and this time NiP were able to take one more in the bag before dropping both remaining for a 3-12 scoreline on the defensive.

At that point both flamie and GuardiaN passed the 20-kill milestone, and when their team picked up the second pistol round as well, they had little to no problems closing map one out confidently 16-3.

Natus Vincere made their first major final with domination

The beginning of map two was nearly a copy paste of de_train, this time with Natus Vincere on the Counter-Terrorist side, as NiP only got four kills together over the course of six rounds.

NiP's first chance at a successful round offered itself in a 3-on-3 situation on a light forcebuy, but it was quickly disposed of by Danylo "⁠Zeus⁠" Teslenko. Finally the Swedish-Finnish side got on the board only to be broke again after another dominating round.

It took a 10-2 scoreline for NiP to finally use their map two's timeout, and it came to some fruition, but Na`Vi could still be happy to switch over at 11-4.

Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund's feat in the last seconds saved his team from a nearly-certain loss in the second pistol, but everything fell apart again, credit to three deagle headshots from Na`Vi's side.

A miraculous forcebuy win at 15-5 delayed the inevitable by a round, as Natus Vincere made their first major grand final after six previous attempts.

NiP magic seems to have come to an end. I had bet on EnVyUs' enemy in the grand final before the first semi-final, I'm afraid I'm gonna lose my several bucks, but anyway I won more thanks to TSM losing to NiP. WP Na`Vi, you're one of the tier1 teams now, even if EnVyUs will rape you in the final, but hopefully it will be as close match as possible. But pls, kick Edward finally, his brainless noscopes and missed easy shots costed you many important rounds, I remember when he went for a noscope vs EnVyUs on overpass and failed and Na`Vi lost the match. Edward, if you can't compete, if you're too old or if you have no enough time to practise - then it's time to retire. Although I think the grand final will be a disaster for Na`Vi. They miss too much shots, those sprays are really poor and weak, and nV are well-known for their very cool aim, so EnVyUs will simply overaim Na`Vi. Oh my skins, let's light a candle for them.

NIP should be disappointed with their show today they were nowhere to be seen. superb play from guardian and co deserved win there. big mistakes from nip to even play these 2 maps in first place, yes you are good on d2 and you had 8:0 latest scores on it but you didnt play navi and these maps fit navi and guardians style so much. they could play any other map also bad day from them clearly but navi played so good no doubt

None in NiP played good. Nobody did their job, it's a shame to see how they can play so good yesterday. The thing that made them win yesterday was the teamwork, they played together and TSM got probably caught offguard because of that. But in this game everyone in NiP was just bad, they was not in the game even. GGWP NaVi! Hope you will make a great final to watch against EnvyUs!

How NiP played today is an insult to TSM. Final gonna be awesome tho.

Indeed, I am a big NiP fan. But I feel more sorry almost for TSM, because they would have put up a much better fight against Na'Vi and deserve it so much to be in semifinals/final.

it was both and a bit of luck on the timing and reads. look at the positioning they had vs Titan on their 16-1, it looked like a wallhack (it wasn't, but it was so good that it did looked like)

You should not really look at stats this game, because no one in NiP did good. allu and f0rest had more kills because they was the one getting kills being left alone when round was over. But I agree, he is not bot allu. He have been one of the players in NiP that have performed the best since he joined. You should never listen to hltv-newbies/twitch_silvers. But this game was just horrible for every player in NiP.
