Video: Booths at DH Open Cluj
We have created a video delving into the booths at DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca in detail alongside one of the project managers of DreamHack, who shared how the booths were built and gave us specifications on pretty much everything you might need to know about them.
Noise-cancelling booths were something many players have been calling for in the past, especially due to concerns about players being able to hear casters through voice communication programs.
Naturally, fans make a lot of noise at events such as the majors, where there is quite a number of people in the audience, which is another reason as to why there should be features like this in tournaments to come.
We have taken the liberty to ask a few questions to Marc Winther, the project manager of DreamHack, who shared quite a few details on specifications of the booths and how they were built.
Take a look below as we delve into the booths to see what kind of a difference they make in terms of noise cancelling, how much playing space there is inside and more:
To our understanding, the exact same booths will be used at DreamHack Winter, which will play a host to the FACEIT League 2015 Stage 3 Finals, as well as at events to come hosted by the Swedish organization.
