We chatted with the as-always-ebullient Ryan 'freakazoid' Abadir following Cloud9's successful journey into the playoffs of the iBUYPOWER CS:GO Cup.

Cloud9 managed to make it into the semifinals of the iBUYPOWER 2015 Cup as the final team, following a 16-5 takedown of compLexity.

Although the team will not be competing for an IEM San Jose spot (having already been invited), there is still a $40,000 difference which the team no doubt wish to transcend and emerge in first place in their gambit.

We briefly talked with Ryan "⁠freakazoid⁠" Abadir as the venue was shutting down to hear his thoughts on his team's well-being and his visible glee for playing with old cohort Braxton "⁠swag⁠" Pierce in the RGN Pro Series LAN.

n1 A tip for stich: try to communicate more with the players. No offense, but like it is right now: you are asking the player, they answer, but they dont answer back to you but to the camera. It feels a little weird :/

You should look up how a person's brain develops. Swag was, what? 18? Your brain doesn't mature until you're around 25. Your ability to weigh the consequences of your actions is inhibited in this regard. It's the reason you see a lot of younger people make a lot of dumb fucking mistakes in their lives, and then turn it around when they're older. People grow up. Maturity actually is a thing.
