Group A: Renegades, Enemy advance

Group A of the RGN Pro Series concludes and Renegades and Enemy have advanced with CLG and Nexus falling short.

The first group of the RGN Pro Series kicked off with four teams duking it out in a round robin, best-of-one format.

Renegades were the first to continue the storyline of their intense rivalry with CLG with the Australian team enacting revenge on de_cbble with a 16-11 map win.

Renegades topped the group

The real surprise result of the group however came later with Enemy, a North American team that has struggled in the Pro League till now, managing to defeat CLG 16-7 on de_cache to knock the North American favourites out of the tournament.

great to see rng advance, clg wow they need to work hard on their game play, very disappointed. Enemy now thats the dark horse of this tournie so far, they have played the best NA CS out of all the NA teams (RNG r AUS). apart form the delays (expected for this NA version of gaming paradise) the matches have been very entertaining!

yer same m8, this tournie is the NA version of Gaming Paradise, loong delays, crap stream, PC issues (all on the first day) made worse by the fact that a another LAN was successful held there the day before... But great to see RNG win!

No offense, but Nexus isn't exaxtly a top tier team in NA. Would be quite a shock if RNG DIDN'T advance imo.

agree that rng should be expected to advance, but after getting 16-0'd and being in a slump (with moving to a new country/scene) hopes where not high... they have come back and won each match now. i dont think to many people would hve expected enemy to advance either more they wld have expected clg to advance instead...
