Team MVP go official

Earlier today a report from Inven.co.kr stated that one of the most successful South Korean esports organizations is looking to venture into CS:GO after fielding players in StarCraft II, League of Legends and DotA 2 for the past few years, among other games.

Now that move has been confirmed by the organization, as they acquired the services of a lineup previously known as m0nster and myRevenge before that.

Former WeMadeFOX and e-STRO player in the 1.6 days, Seon-Ho "⁠termi⁠" Pyeon has been signed as head coach, who will move to a gaming house along with the full roster to focus on communication and teamwork, as explained by manager and sub-coach Eun "SunBi" Jang:

"After leaving myRevenge, we were seeking an organization who can provide us with best enviroment, that can help us to bring up our best performance. Team MVP has provided us everything, with a gaming house, and full gear that will help us to improve." Jang told HLTV.org.

"We will be all living together which will bind us with strong bond. And as Termi joins our squad as a coach, we assume that we will be able to prove better and bring back the glory that former Korean CS team have achieved. By sleeping, eating and playing together we make sure that our teamwork and team communication will improve drastically, and playing in LAN enviroments will also allow us to develop more strats.

Previously, ESL Cologne 2015 Qualifers was something that I wasn't expecting for years, so we were not able to prepare much for the sudden opportunity. But now we are all ready and support from Team MVP will let us to prepare harder, especially for next major Qualifiers. And of course, we will be playing every tournament that we can attend for the time being. Our long term goal is of course winning a major."

Head coach termi also gave a statement to HLTV.org:

"To the world fans, I am glad that I am able to express grattitude for this opportunity. Now, I have joined the team as a coach not a player, the reason for this is pretty much simple. I feel like I have a duty to show the strength or the possibility of Korean CS to the world, and I think that I will be able to do this by coaching the young players. I know it will take some time to show ourselves in the world competitions, but I assure you that it will be soon."
