TSM see off Cloud9 2-1

Team SoloMid are through to the last-four stage of IEM San Jose following a 2-1 victory over Cloud9 (16-11 on de_overpass, 14-16 on de_cache and 16-5 on de_dust2).

Cloud9 entered the match on the back of two domestic titles, the iBP Invitational and the RGN Pro Series Championship, and they tried to give North American fans a reason to cheer again following the elimination of CLG at the hands of G2 earlier in the day.

The opening map was de_overpass, where TSM got off to a flying start, winning five of the first six rounds of the game. A 1vs2 clutch by Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert, followed by a triple kill from Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham, powered Cloud9 to rally back into the game. The final stages of the half were highly contested, but in the end TSM enjoyed a narrow 8-7 lead.

TSM carried their momentum into the second half and picked up the opening three rounds to extend their lead to 11-7. Cloud9 still tried to respond, but the Danish team's economic control was absolutely crushing as they took a string of rounds to close out the game 16-11.

TSM advance to the semi-finals

Next up was de_cache, where Cloud9 were the livelier of the two sides in the first half, picking up a 10-5 halftime lead. Fuelled by the support of the fans, the North American side piled more misery on TSM by adding three more rounds to their tally, the first of which thanks to a quad kill from Skadoodle.

Many certainly thought that Cloud9 would soon close out the game, but TSM picked themselves up and started banging in rounds after rounds to put an insane amount of pressure on the North Americans, who had to call a tactical pause. A couple of rounds later, TSM brought the scoreline to 14-13 in their favor, but then Cloud9 won three rounds straight to set the score at 16-14.

de_dust2 began with a massive blunder from Cloud9, who allowed Nicolai "device" Reedtz to win what seemed to be an unwinnable 1vs3 situation. After buying up, Cloud9 won three rounds straight to equalise the score at 3-3, but then TSM regained control of the game to finish the half up by five rounds. After the restart, TSM played a flawless CT side and won six rounds in a row to seal a 2-1 victory.

I think that Flusha knows what revenge/tradefragging is better than you do. He's a pro and you are a nonamer. "And JW and the clowns of fnatic making themself look even more of an idiots once again. Full of themselves and toxic as shit" It's just pros joking with each other. It's an inside joke that you'll never understand because you'll never become pro. I'm not pro either but at least I don't complain about small things like pro's joking on twitter. You probably just hate Fnatic and JW because they refused handshake with NiP while in reality it was NiP who acted like bitches by wanting to replay a map that they had already lost. Well, atleast they got double de_stroyed by Fnatic. Or then you hate Fnatic because you think that they cheat.. Which is also a retarded reason to hate Fnatic because it's clear that they aren't actually cheating. You don't have any REAL reason to hate Fnatic. You can't call them toxic or clowns if you don''t have any evidence or reason to hate them.

Did I ever mention Flusha didint know what the term means? No, I didint. I sipmly stated that the term "revengefragging" sounds retarted and he and others should stick with the "trading/trading kills"... And its just JW being over cocky like he always is. I doubt the boys of Cloud9 are laughing at their "jokes". And yes I dont like over cocky nerd that acts like a douche to every one. Why would I want to like a person like that? The whole team pretty much goes in to that category. The overpass boost and shit they have done. More than enough of a reason to not to like them. And the situation with the overtime was a little bit different than that just NiP "crying" after lose. They were told false information about the rules of the overtime so they did eco the last round when they thought there would be more rounds. Blame the organizers for falsely informing NiP about the rules of the overtime. The fact that they actually paid to some guy to take down his video from youtube so no one would figure out the overpass boost so they could use it in next major is just plain fucked up. So back to sucking fnatics **** fanboy. Oh and btw I used to like fnatic back in the days when their team wasnt bunch of clowns. Thats in the old 1.6 days. Edit: Also the fact that you are using this old arguement "do it better or dont comment" is fucking retarded at its best.

Flusha was just analyzing the game of Cloud9. There is nothing wrong with criticism. Flusha is a smart player who knows how to read the game. He has the right to criticize other teams or players and other people also have the right to criticize him. He might also have been a bit sarcastic with his words. You must realize that pro's are not always serious with the stuff that they write on Twitter. At least Fnatic forfeited with pride after the boost. They didn't cry like babies and ask for a rematch. Fnatic had beat NiP but they forced Fnatic to replay. Fnatic had two choices: replay the match or disqualify from the tournament. That just shows the influence that players like Get_Right and F0rest have when they complain about tournament rules. They think that they can do anything just because they were good in 1.6 but still can't compete with new players like Flusha. There is no evidence that Fnatic actually payed some guy to take down a video.. That's just made up. And yes I don't like over cocky nerds like Get_Right either. He kicked 16k, randomrambo and robiin from FPL just because he didn't like them. That's a bit cocky isn't it? He thinks that he's the best player in the world even tho there are a lot of better lurkers thank him like Flusha and Happy. He's not even a top 15 player anymore. The same with F0rest. He has openly said that he's the best player to even play Counter-Strike. In reality was never as good as NEO was in 1.6. Fnatic apologized to their fans and everyone about the boost. NiP turned the situation around like it was Fnatic's fault that NiP forced them to replay.

There is a difference between criticism and being a jerk. Calling them noobs is one thing. Also I never said anything about his criticism being bad. I totally agree that C9 played quite bad in dust2 but not "noob". I criticized JW being a complete dickhead with his tweet. "At least Fnatic forfeited with pride after the boost. They didn't cry like babies and ask for a rematch. " Bulllshiiiiiiit. They did not until their boss went in to damage control mode. Even their own fans called out the bullshit about the boost but the PLAYERS them self did nothing at the time. The organization did it, not JW and the fat goons. Sorry for not having the actual paycheck as proof to show you but that is how it is. There is evidence about the boost video going viral and suddenly taken down tho..? Mmm wonder who did that and why? Re-play what match? They didint re-play any match only thing the did re-play was the overtime section. And still you should go blame the guys behind the LAN that falsely informed NiP about the round limit of the overtime, not NiP. Have I ever said I like f0rest or get_right? Once again, no. In a matter of fact I have always thought that they were super overrated in CSGO. Back in 1.6 they were good but still I never was a "fan" of them. And again... Fnatics players didnt apologize anything until their boss told them to do so. Ootko sä oikeasti vähän vammainen vai paska trolli?

Sean will probably fall into a coaching role soon and freak I believe was only a temporary solution that ended up sticking around cuz he's a cool guy. The only problem is you cut these guys and who replaces them? NAs talent is either banned, on other teams, or too toxic to get along with one another.

Swag WOULD NEVER WANT to play with Hiko. Hiko is TOXIC as fuck. Why would you replace N0thing? He's been solid at the past 5 lans???? You can't just place random NA players with others because they all have fucking ego problems. Hiko is a great player, but he'll never be on a good team because he baits too much. Clutching a 1 v 3 or 4 once every 10-15 tries isn't worth the amount of baiting he does.

I know those things. I was setting this lu without considering their personal problems with each others. Solid? All players I just listed were better than n0thing in 2015. He is the most inconsistent player ever, and has a bad gamesense. Would go for Hiko over n0thing any day.

How is that relevant? Wow, he has a good lan streak. So what, it happens for each player every now and then. You can't look at it like that. You need to look at his whole career in CSGO, and everybody in this community knows how unconsistent he is. Both skadoodle and shroud have had a bigger impact for C9 than n0thing since the creation of this line-up.

What??? The only thing that matters is how players have played recently. You want to talk about on LAN? Shrouds career on lan can be summed up in 1 word... "Choke". He's done great these past 2 lans and that's exciting to see. Did you watch the major, which is literally more important than any other lan or other tournament? Yeah, ska and shroud choked HARD at the major. So when I see people say -n0thing, I don't know WHAT THE FUCK they are talking about.

How the fuck can recent form be the most important thing? If you are making a new team, you would be fucking dumb to use players who have been good only in the recent form. It won't work on a long run. You use players who have been proved to be consistent and good throughout most period of time. So what? Whole C9 choked, not only them. Shroud still remains the best C9 major rated player, and has a bigger impact in most matches than n0thing. That's actually a fact, and no, I am not implying only on frags and stats as the main factor. It's true that Ska has been doing really bad at majors compared to other LANs, but you can easily draw a good conclusion from it. When shroud and ska are not playing like they know how to, C9 are lost and can't pass the groups. It has always been about these two. How they perform will result in how C9 performs.

Nope. Whole c9 did not choke. Seangares, freakazoid, and n0thing were going ham in the major. Sean gares was literally their best player. Also, are you saying that I should care more about how a player has played in the past few years than the past 5 months? That makes no fucking sense...

You clearly need to read again what the point of our discussion is. We are talking about making a new team. Are you seriously gonna choose n0thing who has been performing good in last 5 months over (for example) GeT_RiGhT who has been proved to be much consistent and better, but hasn't had the best form in last couple of months? Choosing a player who has been good lately over a player who has been proved to be more consistent and better overall for a new team is the most dumb fucking move one can make.
