Our final and winners' interview from IEM San Jose features Na'Vi's Ladislav 'GuardiaN' Kovács and touches on both the team's win and various other topics.

Na`Vi made short work of TSM in the grand final, which allowed the Eastern European team to return to its Cluj form following a disappointing run at CEVO Season 8.

HLTV.org spoke with Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács once again and covered topics ranging from the game to recent hot topics in the CS:GO scene.

its fine if they get paid for the stuff they do for their organization. however, i doubt that what exposure they bring for sponsors and whatever else their job is, i doubt that comes even close to what navi do for their orga. whether u wanna delete all female leagues and such so a girl team like that hardly exists anymore, thats a different question and is not easy to answer. whatever, as long as what guardian said is true and the navi guys (and any other top cs pro) get paid well.

because TSM seems to (ab)use them so heavily for smokes? I dont know. I never bothered learning them as they depend on so many things its not even funny, rather try a different approach. (ping, server lag, tickrate, fps, script nor working properly...)

why dont we care whether navi makes more or less money than clg red? its definitely something to talk about. guardian is the best player in the world, plays for a top5 team in the world and in this plays a large part in filling up big arenas and drawing 100k+ people to twitch for every big lan. it would indeed be quite disgusting if he'd make less money than some girl team that would get shit on in the faceit master league, let alone pro league.
