TSM top Group A over Virtus.pro

TSM have secured a place in the FACEIT League Stage 3 semi-finals after beating Virtus.pro 16-13 on de_mirage.

TSM, who came into this game on the back of a 16-0 rout of Team Liquid, got off to a flying start in the match and won the pistol round and the following anti-ecos to build a 3-0 lead. Virtus.pro then pulled back in the first gun round but they were unable to build on that win, with TSM cruising to a 9-1 scoreline.

After calling a tactical pause, Virtus.pro were finally able to put together a string of two rounds, only to see TSM secure the final two rounds to finish the half with a commanding 12-3 lead.


TSM secure playoff spot 

The second half began with Paweł "⁠byali⁠" Bieliński winning a 1vs2 clutch in the A site to keep Virtus.pro's hopes alive. The Polish team went on to take six rounds straight to reduce the deficit to 10-12 and put some pressure on TSM, but the Danish team held on and exerted great map control in the dying stages of the half to secure a 16-13 victory that puts them through to the semi-finals.
