INTZ expand to CS:GO with cogu

After previously supporting an all-female roster, which attended ESWC Montreal as Dexterity, INTZ, one of the top esports organisations in Brazil, are looking to enter the male scene with a team made from scratch.

Four positions on the roster will be filled through open tryouts, while the final spot belongs to Raphael "⁠cogu⁠" Camargo, one of the most accomplished Brazilian Counter-Strike players.

The 26-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best AWPers in the history of 1.6, is hoping to finally make his mark in the CS:GO scene after a failed spell in 2012 with ProGaming.TD.

The list of requirements for the positions includes being at least 18 years old, living in São Paulo or being able to relocate there, and having at least three years of experience playing the game. The team will follow a strict practice regime of at least eight hours a day from Monday to Friday.

INTZ provide the team with a backroom staff of 15 people and a training center to get them through stage one, labelled Preparation, in which the goal is to become "the best CS:GO team in Latin America". During stage two, called Execution, players will have a salary and a gaming house in the United States. With such conditions, INTZ hope that the team will become "the best in the world."
